A house hunt in Kenya usually costs three things: the fare, the airtime and a wasted Saturday. CribHunter cuts all three. You watch the house, you book the viewing in the app, and the fee waits with us until the tour is done.

How it works

Four things we do so you travel once.

Each one exists because of a house hunt that went wrong. Here is what happens instead.

  1. 01

    The video comes first

A listing with a video opens on it. You see the rooms, the kitchen and the road outside on your phone, not after a matatu ride.

  2. 02

A Crib Tour, not a gamble

The lister confirms a time and names the viewing fee. You pay it or offer less. The money goes by M-Pesa to CribHunter, not to a stranger's number, and reaches the lister when the tour is done.

  3. 03

    Ask once, hear back

Not finding it? Post a request with the size, the area and your budget. Agents with a matching house answer you in the app. No answer before it closes, and your request fee comes back.

  4. 04

    Numbers stay private

A lister's phone number shows only to signed-in visitors, so it is not scraped off the page. One phone number is one account, and a lister reported for fake houses loses every listing they posted.

For agents and agencies

Your next tenant is already searching here.

List the house with a video from your phone. Hunters see it on the web and in the app, book Crib Tours with you, and requests for houses like yours come straight to you. Listing is free.
